Job Description
American Moistening Co. a Charlotte-area company specializing in sales and services in Industrial Market. We design, manufacture, and install Industrial Humidification Systems. We are seeking an Field Installation Technician to install and perform service on industrial systems.
Job Purpose:
Maintain environmental conditions by installing, performing system start-ups, system testing, coordinating with plumbing and electrical contractors, troubleshooting and performing maintenance of pre-existing systems at customer's location.
Duties:
* Organize work by studying work orders, diagrams, specifications, drawings, and blueprints; gathering required materials.
* Installing systems by running tubing, mounting control panels, placing mechanical components, connecting humidity controls and adjusting nozzles to complete a full installation.
* Testing and repairing systems by operating the system; identifying malfunctions; repairing or replacing sealants, parts, and components.
* Keep tools and equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
* Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
